With that said, we know that the map will be larger than past releases, and we’re getting more factions to play through. We’re just days away now before we get the next thrilling installment. Fans who have been playing through the past games can expect another turn-based strategy game set with a medieval fantasy setting. Here the game will bring out the trilogy’s conclusion where we march into the Realms of Chaos. This year we’re getting a new Total War: Warhammer installment.
Developer: Creative Assembly, Feral Interactive. Unfortunately, there is very little information about Avowed, and we’re left waiting to see just what all Obsidian Entertainment is bringing out for this new IP. We’ll likely get plenty of areas to explore, quests to take on, and a combat system that will feature traditional medieval weapons and magical spells. The game is a first-person RPG similar to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Obsidian Entertainment is known for some incredible RPGs, and one of its upcoming projects is a game called Avowed. Players will have to purchase the base game and keep up with a monthly subscription fee to enjoy the game. With that said, the game does have some mixed reception from fans, and it’s a premium title. Players can attack at any given time, so that could mean potentially easy loot to acquire or finding yourself having to prepare for battle at any given moment. However, one area might keep the game interesting: the PvP aspects. There are areas to explore, quests to complete, gear to acquire, and a crafting system. You can find the typical tropes from an MMORPG here. Players are once again getting an MMORPG that will put them into a difficult medieval fantasy world. The 2015 release of Mortal Online has a sequel, Mortal Online 2. 
However, you can still find quite a few games well worth picking up. Unfortunately, The Elder Scrolls 6 and Dragon Age 4 won’t hit the marketplace this year.
